Description: A superb new Celtic Cross design, inspired by the Book of Kells. This exquisite Irish Cross in Sterling Silver interweaves Celtic patterns and each point of the cross features the symbol of each of the evangalists as depicted in most famous illumnated manuscript. Matthew is represented by Man, Mark by the Lion, Luke the Calf and John the Eagle. This uniquely Irish cross is said to have been created by Saint Patrick, to help convince the pagan Celts to convert to Christianity with the circle symbolizing the sun.
