Our Lady, with rays symbolizing the grace of God around her, standing upon a globe representing the world, is encircled by the words: O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.
On the reverse side is a cross and the letter M. Two hearts represent both the Sacred Heart of Jesus the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Twelve stars are symbols of the 12 Apostles.
